Andrea Steidl

Andrea Steidl graduated from the Politecnico di Milano with a degree in Industrial Design and began his career immediately with a job in Patricia Urquiola’s studio. He went on to become a Creative Manager and remained with the firm until 2016. He was responsible for the Design and Product areas and oversaw limited editions, temporary installations, site-specific projects and interior design for a range of clients.
At the same time, in academic circles, he started working both as an assistant professor at the Politecnico di Milano and a course supervisor at Domus Academy and Scuola Politecnica di Design.
In 2016, he founded the / àr o / design studio with Raquel Pacchini. They work for a range of companies in the fields of art direction, graphic design, installations, and industrial product design.
Using a creative process based on aesthetic, product and strategic research, the firm transforms the ideas and inspirations of its clients into value systems in order to give rise to a fresh perspective on the brand that revolves around creative direction, products, and visual communication.
