Claudio Silvestrin

Born in Zurich in 1954, Claudio Silvestrin studied design in Milan, in the minimalist design current of his teacher A.G. Fronzoni, then continued his studies with the Architectural Association in London. He has worked primarily in the British capital, initially with John Pawson (1986-1988), then with his own practice, Claudio Silvestrin Architects (1989), which opened an office in Milan in 2006. His projects embrace a vast range of architecture and design, characterized by austerity, elegance and strict attention to detail. The result is a variety of different designs including objects for everyday use, museum buildings, interior designs, private residences and hotels.
