Elisa Strozyk
Elisa Strozyk, born in 1982, is an up-and-coming creative designer from Berlin. After studying at outstanding art schools including ENSAD (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs) in Paris and KHB (Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weissensee) in Berlin, she gained her Master’s in Future Textile Design from Central Saint Martins in London in 2009. Elisa Strozyk’s fascination with the composition and quality of traditional materials, textures and surfaces is her inspiration for crafting breathtakingly sensitive and exciting objects. These sculptural works have already won Strozyk numerous awards including the 2010 German Design Newcomer Award and the 2011 Salone Satellite Award. Her work has also been presented at international exhibitions in Cologne, Milan and Miami and in major museums including the London Victoria and Albert Museum.
