Franca Helg
Franca Helg (1920–1989) was an Italian designer and architect who also did a long career in Italian design institutes. Graduated from the Politecnico di Milano in 1945, Helg is known for her numerous collaborations with architect-designer Franco Albini, as well as especially her works in the fields of industrial design and architectural planning. In 1964, Helg was awarded the Compasso d’Oro Award together with Franco Albini and Bob Noorda for their Metropolitana di Milano project.
