Jaume Ramírez
Jaume Ramírez was born in Olot in 1973. He moved to Girona to study Design at the Polytechnic University of Girona, and later to the Basque Country where he founded his first studio, Zoocreative, together with Gorka Ibargoyen and Josema Carrillo. In 2019 he created his own studio in Barcelona where he currently works.
With his first design, the Delica tray collection, he received the Gold Delta Award, the Red Dot Design, and a Design Plus. He has worked for brands such as Escofet, Parklex, Normann Copenhagen, Arcos, and Mobles 114.
At the same time, as a result of a spontaneous job, he begins to relate to France: he participates several times in the Saint-Étienne biennial, or in the Designers Days in Paris, and exhibits, among others, in the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, at the cité de la Mode et du Design, or even at the renowned Parisian store Merci.
