Massimiliano Locatelli – CLS Architetti
Massimiliano Locatelli, architect and Ph.D. at Columbia University in New York, works since 1993 between Milan and New York. Since its inception, its design activity has been divided into different areas: private homes, showrooms, shops, set-ups for many fashion brands, alongside the design of new buildings. At the smallest scale, he deals with furniture design both in terms of \”tailor-made\” furniture designed for individual projects and in terms of design for companies. The collaboration with Tecno produces the limited edition collection of a series of containers and tables and for the brand Skitsch designs a collection of dishes and one of the blankets. Among the competitions wins the one banned by the City of Milan for the project of restoration and functional redevelopment of the monumental complex of Piazza XXV Aprile in Milan (Porta Garibaldi), participates in the IX edition of the Venice Biennale – Metamorph in the News section from the inside and is invited to take part in the exhibition \”The mobile landscape of new Italian design\” at the Milan Triennale.
