Nicola Gallizia
Born in Milan, he went to the faculty of architecture at Milan Polytechnic. From 1990 to 1999 he assisted Luca Meda in image and product design for Molteni & C. e Dada SpA. Since 1999, he worked with Molteni and Dada as an image and product development consultant. He then worked as art director and designer for the Gruppo Camera. In 2000 he began designing for Penta srl, Molteni & C, Gruppo Camera, GB Ballardini, Takata Industries, and Alfredo Salvatori Stone Collection. Since 2001 he has been working with Pitti Living producing displays and exhibitions. He won the I.Dot award for the Rayon Vert table. In 2003 he took over the artistic direction at Molteni & C., specifically dealing with the new artwork project, the concept and production of catalogues, setting up stands at the main trade fairs, and the design and fitting of some of their flagship stores and events. In 2008 he received the Good Design Award 2008 assigned by Chicago Athenaeum and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies for the China lamp.
