Stefano Bigi
Born in 1974, he grew up between France and Italy, moving to Milan in 2005 and establishing the Helldesign studio. He designs furniture and objects for La Cividina, Porada, Exdè by Cattaneo, Colico Design, Seltz, Emmei. He considers design to be a never ending search for the right balance between aesthetics and comfort, between form and function. A piece of furniture is always the result of a collaboration between the designer’s ideas and the producer’s technical experience, a real encounter between form and technique. He is mainly inspired by his love for nature, for the 1970\’s and that era’s rejection of the conventional. His influences in the world of design are mainly Pierre Paulin, Werner Panton and Achille Castiglioni.
