Steffen Kehrle
Steffen Kehrle studied industrial design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Since 2009 he runs \”Atelier Steffen Kehrle“ with an emphasis on product, display and interior design. Steffen Kehrle’s work is characterized by a distinctive curiosity towards our interaction with things. His focus also lies on emotions which objects evoke and the context-sensitive orchestration of objects in unusual or everyday settings. For each one of his objects he searches for an independent approach, which allows him to invent characteristic forms with the most elementary means, to invent a new implicitness through improvisation or to reflect our relationship to objects through humour.
