Daisy Side Table

The Daisy table began as an exercise in three dimensional geometry and the repurposing of materials.  The circles used to make the Daisy Table are industrial cut-off PVC which is one of the environmentally most difficult plastics to break down.  I came across an abundance of these circles in black and white about to be thrown into a dumpster destined to sit in a landfill for eternity.  I set out  to arrange the circles in an exciting three dimensional graphic way and developed a stepping pattern alternating between black and white which is reminiscent of a daisy.
