Alessandro Pedretti

Born in Milan in 1966. Degree in Architecture at the Milan Polytechnic. From \’93 to \’97 he lived in Paris and works with Pierangelo Caramia. Starting from \’96 designs products in the field of furniture, office, lighting and urban furniture for Italian and foreign companies. Since 1998, as an associate of Studio Rota & Partners, he has been designing and signing architectural and interior design projects, installations for public and private spaces, commercial and exhibition spaces in Italy and abroad, art, design and fashion exhibitions. In 2005 and 2006 he designed the preparation for the \”Star Wars the Show\” exhibition and the \”Looking for\” exhibition at the Milan Triennale. Consultant for magazines, galleries and design institutions on research, evaluation and exhibition of design objects in institutions and museums of decorative and design art in the world. Scientific consultant for the New Museum of Design. Since 1998 he has been a professor at the NABA in Milan, Visiting Professor at the University of Industrial Design in Milan, in Venice, at the Domus Academy and the Milan Julm. Since autumn 2006 he has been teaching Light Design Laboratory at the Faculty of Industrial Design in Milan.
