46 Chair

This chair is one of the most beautiful chairs from the hand of Finn Juhl, originally designed in 1946 for Snedkerlauget’s exhibition for Niels Vodder. The chair can also be seen besides the working table in Finn Juhl’s own house, which now has opened as a museum by Ordrupgaard Museum of Art in Charlottenlund, and also at the Museum of Art Louisianna, where the founder and manager Knud W. Jensen bought a number of chairs for the opening of the museum in 1958.

This chair is, like the 45 Chair and the Chieftains Chair, exposing some of the most outstanding within modern Danish furniture art, and will now be available for those interested in unique craftsmanlike quality.
