Rolf Heide was born 1932 in Kiel. Works as an interior architect and exhibit designer in Hamburg. Since the end of the 60s, Heide, who trained at the Muthesius Werkkunst School, has become one of the most important interior designers in Germany. He also withstood the fierce rejections of the German style of living in the 70s and 80s. Heide always worked at the height of his time, documented his understanding of trends as a stylist and designer for the most important German lifestyle magazines and designed for many renowned firms.
